Are you planning a trip to Andaman? Well, being a beginner, there are numerous things that you need to consider before you actually start with your trip. You need to plan your entire trip in advance and also consider the budget. Apart from that, you also have to plan your number of days of stay in Andaman. If you are a first timer, it is recommended that you spend at least 5 days on the Andaman Islands. 

You can give another two days for traveling. This will make it a week of occasion. This is good for a regular package and you are not going to miss anything important during your trip. But what exactly are you going to do during those five days in Andaman? Well, here is a quick guide on how you can make the most out of your stay at Andaman.

Day 1: Port Blair 

The main attraction of Port Blair is the cellular jail and its light and sound show. It is popular throughout the world. You can plan your trip to Andaman in such a way that you can visit the cellular jail during the day and spend some time there shopping and around Corbyn’s Cove. 

You can then catch the light and sound show in the evening and get back to the hotel by night. This can be a really good way to spend your first day at Andaman.

Day 2: Neil Island

This is another major attraction of Andaman. The place has some amazing beaches like Bharatpur, Sitapur and Laxmanpur. You can also enjoy the beautiful sunset there. The place will also allow you to experience the true essence of Andaman. You may also enjoy some of the exotic cuisines of Andaman there.

Day 3: Havelock

Havelock has the Radhanagar beach which is considered to be the best beach in entire Asia. Because of its popularity, the beach remains crowded all the time. Nevertheless, it is a must visit during your stay at Andaman. You can also opt for snorkeling or go on a glass bottom boat ride at Havelock during your 3rd day at Havelock.

Day 4: Scuba diving

If you have a sense of adventure in your heart, then scuba diving is a great option for you. Even if you don’t know how to swim, this can be a great option for you. This can be done in half a day in the presence of an instructor. It is going to be everything that you have ever dreamt of. After scuba diving during the day, you can return to Port Blair during the night.

Day 5: Mud volcano day trip

In order to have a look at the limestone caves, you will have to leave the hotel at about 3am and travel through the dense forests and the mangrove trees. You can then return to Port Blair on the same day.  And this is what you can do during your stay at Andaman. You can also stay an extra day to explore the other beautiful beaches or keep a day for relaxation and it is going to make your trip a fantastic one.
