Scuba Diving

Two of the most famous places to scuba dive in Andaman are Havelock Island and North Bay Island. North Bay Island has crystal clear blue water in which you can scuba dive. The area is rich in corals. You will not be disappointed in going here. However, if you want to get the best out of scuba diving in Andaman, you might want to go to Havelock Island. Although North Bay Island is beautiful, Havelock Island offers more area options for scuba diving.

If you wish to scuba dive at North Bay, you could visit North Bay Reef. It is a famous place. However, if you wish to scuba dive at Havelock, you could visit Nemo Reef. It is a great place to go to. If you just have half a day and would like to scuba dive, then TRY DIVE is where you should go.

Gypsy Divers is the best option if you want to scuba dive in Havelock. You will be able to scuba dive in front of their Dive center (Shore Dive). Their Dive Master, trainer, will dive train you on the shore. Additionally, he will be your guide underwater. The dive will last 30 to 35 minutes and will be up to 6 meters or less, depending on your comfort. A Dive Master will always be by your side during your scuba diving experience, to make sure you are safe. The minimum age for scuba diving is 8 years old. Anyone above that age should be able to scuba dive.

Havelock Island has a lot of different underwater scenery. Turtle Bay, for example, is full of turtles. Pilot Reef is a submarine canyon, and The Wall is a gigantic underwater rock that goes down to at least 56 meters. There are a lot of scuba diving area options in Havelock Island compared to North Bay Island.

Once you have chosen where you want to scuba dive, all you need is to train. The duration of the dive with your training should last around 4-7 days. The training takes up most of the time because they want to make sure you will be in danger.

There are scuba diving courses available in Andaman. One of them is the PADI Open Water Certification Course. Another course is the 2 Days SSI Scuba Diver Certification Course. These two courses will enable you to make the best out of scuba diving.

Andaman Dolphin

If you want to witness the vivid marine life without touching the water, you must take the Andaman Dolphin boat ride. Andaman Dolphin is a boat with the shape of a dolphin, and the bottom of it is transparent. So, you can see different types of sea plants and marine creatures closely without entering the ocean. Before entering Andaman Dolphin, you must know all safety measures to take to perform this activity. This activity will be one of your lifetime memory because here you can see beautiful coral reefs, exotic fish types, including fire goby, freckled frogfish, etc. This fun of watching sea life too closely without making your toes wet will be for 60 minutes per ride.
